Joe's Genie was started by my grandfather Joe Longobardi in 1985, who had recently retired from The Genie Company located in Alliance, Ohio.
In 1993, Joe retired again and turned the business over to me, Shawn Hoyle.
I now have 28 years of experience installing and repairing garage doors and openers, and still do most of the work myself.
I like to meet and talk with people.
I will even take the time to educate my customers on the maintenance and safety of their own door system.
