Since 1971, the Overhead Door Company of Fort Myers, and subsequently the Overhead Door Company of Naples and the Overhead Door Company of Port Charlotte, have specialized in the installation, service, and repair of garage doors and openers throughout Southwest Florida. We are the region's exclusive distributor of garage doors and openers manufactured by the Overhead Door Corporation.

In 1970, C. Maurice Thorne and Cecil Williams formed Yu-Al Inc., selling and installing Raynor garage doors and Genie operators.
In 1971, the pair was approached by the Overhead Door Corporation and offered the opportunity to assume the company's Southwest Florida distributorship.
In 1978, Cecil left Yu-Al, Inc. and Overhead Door Company of Ft.
Myers to form the Overhead Door Company of Naples under the auspices of his newly created venture, TEVE, Inc.
Bob Van Arnam and Casey Pacetti have earned accreditation from the Institute for Dealer Education and Accreditation (IDEA).
